Leadership is awe and necessity in combination
Norwich University's Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) is specifically designed for working professionals. It relieves you of the constraints of traditional classroom education by providing all class interaction via a virtual classroom. You are provided with Help Desk Support for access issues within the classroom, a uniquely designed curriculum structure, and a caring atmosphere that comes along with being part of Norwich University.
The curriculum blends the exploration of conceptual and theoretical aspects and models of leadership in the context of present and past leaders with key concepts pertaining to leadership within organizations; ethics, intelligence evaluation, change management, strategic communication, information leadership, Organizational Behavior (OB) and Human Capital Management (HCM).
Track your developmentWork directly with faculty to create your Leadership Development Portfolio (LDP) to track your learning and development as you travel through the program.
Interact with and learn from successful leaders
While students with varying levels of experience are welcome, one of our greatest strengths is the level of expertise and experience brought by students presently in leadership roles.
Combine theory and inspiration
Each seminar delivers information and inspiration to prompt real change and growth as you become highly introspective about your own leadership style and potential.
Experience academic excellenceThis master's program is a rigorous course of study. Many of our online students report that they actually absorb information faster, feel a superior level of support and are more engaged online than they ever were in a traditional classroom. The curriculum and program structure combine the value of a traditional classroom environment with the flexibility required as a busy professional.
Learn from the bestThe curriculum is developed and taught by experts in the organizational leadership field – people who continue to innovate and succeed. These professionals utilize case studies from their professional experience as teaching tools. Visit the Faculty page for more information. Faculty are selected not only because their background is pertinent to the topics in a particular seminar, but for their unique approach to leadership in both theory and practice.
Benefit from a small class size
Small class sizes (12 to 15 students) ensure you receive individualized attention directly from faculty. You also develop close relationships with fellow leaders from around the world as you interact with them creating a vast network of professional contacts.
Norwich University is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc., through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education.
