The study of leaders and leadership is a potentially career-changing; dare I say even life-changing process. Leadership is a complex, exciting and dynamic topic. Norwich's Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) program offers far more than a convenient way to advance your credentials. It provides a unique framework for you to advance your own personal and professional understanding of leadership.
Norwich University understands leadership in a way few other universities can boast. Our long history and tradition of leadership as a standard of excellence is visible in the academic rigor and depth of the course work. All this is supported by the high quality of our faculty, and delivered in a cutting-edge online format.
Some say leadership is an art, others say a practice. Some say leaders are born, others say leaders are made. The MSOL program provides a means of discovery so you can find your own answers, and then live out what you learn, within your organization and in your daily life.
The comprehensive curriculum is designed by subject matter experts. The critical elements of all that encompasses leadership are outlined in a simple formula for success. Each seminar reviews what leaders and followers must consider in their work life and prepares you to integrate the course work in your role within your organization and in your daily life; whether you are a leader or follower at this stage of your professional journey.
Instructors will work with you to create a customized Leadership Development Portfolio (LDP). This portfolio provides the means for you to track your learning and development as you travel through the curriculum. You will be able to see where your strengths lie and set goals for the future emergence of deeper leadership qualities. As you learn about leadership theory, present and past leaders (and those who followed), it is our intention that you will grow in your capacity to recognize the required traits, behaviors, attitude, tendencies, character and characteristics to lead yourself and others towards fulfillment and accomplishment, both personally and professionally.
The Norwich University online Master of Science in Organizational Leadership degree is designed to be a conduit for your growth and development as you learn about leaders, leadership and how to emulate the best characteristics of leaders or followers. We are here to serve you, as you accept the promise of a future firmly grounded in the information and inspiration held within this vital topic and practice. Leadership is awe and necessity in combination. We want to speak to your heart and mind. Will you join us and live what you learn? You'll be glad you did.
Sincerely,

Diane Ravenscroft, MEd
