Norwich University's Master of Justice Administration (MJA) offers something more than a course of study in criminal justice. It offers the justice professional a course in public administration, oriented to management and leadership of a justice organization. In effect, the graduates of the MJA program will be prepared to move into the elite ranks of leaders for organizations that provide criminal justice services, whether it is law enforcement, correctional services or the operation of the nation's courts.
The program is designed to accommodate your demanding work and homelife schedule and is built specifically for working professionals, with a uniquely flexible mode of study. You attend virtual seminars, student forums and asynchronous discussion groups, all without leaving the comfort of your own home. The curriculum consists of 36 credits of online coursework, including an elective option during Seminar 5. The coursework is followed by a one-week residency and graduation at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont.
