- Is there a residency requirement?
Yes, the program culminates in a week-long residency in June. You will finally have the opportunity to meet your classmates and instructors face to face and cement the relationships you began online. Finally, the week is crowned with a full graduation ceremony.

- How are the courses and content delivered?
The Business Continuity Management program uses an online format, a process in which you do not attend lectures but rather learn anywhere you have access to the Internet. Online courses are delivered under the direction of faculty and staff via the World Wide Web using the WebCT learning platform. This powerful educational technology allows you to get course assignments, ask questions to faculty and other students, and participate in discussions at any time of the day or night. Technical support staff will be available throughout your program 24/7.

- How many courses do I need to take to earn the Master of Science in Business Continuity Management?
In order to graduate with a Master of Science in Business Continuity Management, you must successfully complete all six, six-credit seminars, have a GPA of 3.0 or better, and participate in the one-week Residency.

- How long is the program?
There are three six-month semesters and a one-week residency in June. Depending on the start date you choose, you will have your degree in 18-24 months. Your Admissions Advisor will assist you with the enrollment calendar, highlighting the unique benefits of each class.

- How much will the program cost?

- Do you accept transfer credits?
Transfer credits will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Professionals who have achieved certain certifications in business continuity management are granted a waiver from the Foundations of Business Continuity Management seminar at the beginning of the program. Contact our admissions advisors to see if you qualify for this benefit.

No. You will receive the official, traditional diploma of Norwich University.

- What does the case study involve?
Many applicants are concerned with the case study requirement of the MSBC program. The scope of the case study is to make real-world assessments of security principles and practices and apply lessons learned in the program to that real-world environment. - When can I begin the program?
