Each master's program culminates in a week-long residency at the Norwich University campus in June. The residency acts as a capstone experience to your coursework. Students converge on the campus to permanently cement friendships and become familiar with the campus, administrators, and instructors. Students attend workshops, participate in vigorous formal debates, and present papers. Finally, our students are proudly hooded at the graduation ceremony. It is a dynamic, vital experience, and it is required as part of your degree requirements. Norwich University's School of Graduate Studies provides travel assistance to each graduating student participating in the residency. Travel assistance checks will be delivered to students upon completion of all residency outprocessing activities.
Students are encouraged to end their residency and graduation with a family vacation. There is no finer destination in summer than the Green Mountains of Vermont. Families are welcome to join you and there are special events scheduled for family members throughout the week. Prospective students are welcome to drop by during the Residency. Contact an Admissions Advisor to find out how.
March Start Date Students Be sure to ask an Admissions Advisor about our Accelerated Residency for March Start Date students.
