Experiential Learning:

Statue of Col. Alden Partridge In 1819, Captain Alden Partridge founded Norwich University based on the principles of experiential learning. Those principles have guided the learning methodology at Norwich since then and have created a unique learning experience that is based on a 'learn while doing' model rather than 'learn and then do.'

The experiential learning model:
  • Provides immediacy
  • Stresses collaboration
  • Integrates learning with knowledge management
Far from just reading and remembering, experiential learning combines thinking and acting; conceiving and executing.
